Travel and Highways


Stagecoach runs a Monday to Saturday service (96) between Rugby and Northampton running through East Haddon and Long Buckby. There are buses almost every hour during the day.

Catherall Bus Service runs a twice weekly service – Tuesdays and Fridays - between East Haddon and Daventry. The bus starts from the Village Hall stop at 9:10am and leaves Daventry Bus Station for the return journey at 12:15pm. For more information call 01926 813192.

Daventry Area Community Transport

A local scheme using volunteer car drivers to assist anyone who has difficulty using public transport to get to any medical appointments: GP practices, hospitals, dentists, opticians. County Connect

This bus service links the village to Long Buckby and Daventry and, on request, to any one other village in the Daventry County Connect area. The journeys the bus makes are defined by users each day and there is no fixed timetable. The service operates ‘on demand’ and it only serves pre-booked journeys. Booking is very easy, by phone, text or email. Phone bookings can be made as little as an hour before you need to travel and works on a ‘first-come, first-served basis’.
