The Parish Council met on Thursday 16th January. Key points from the meeting:
- Cemetery rabbit proofing. The Council is continuing to employ a pest control company and agreed to research the costs involved in fencing - report at next meeting.
- The Big Poppy Plant. This is a community initiative to commemorate the First World War. The Chairman suggested the youth club might wish to be involved and would pass on the details.
- Highways. Reports have been received that the road surface on Main Street is in very bad condition, as are parts of the A428 in the section known as 'The Bends'. Both will be reported to the Street Doctor.
- The next meeting will be on March 14th, 2014.
