Parish Council Meeting, 1st March
There has been a very limited response to the leaflet drop encouraging parishioners to stand for election to the Parish Council in May. Several of the current councillors will be standing down in April so, if you haven’t already done so, please think about getting involved. All the information is here on the website or you can contact any of the current councillors.
Holdenby Estate is having increasing problems with people wandering off the right of way that crosses the estate. There is a particular problem with the damage being caused by horses - please remember that horses are not allowed on the Holdenby headland or on the public footpath.
If you’ve been up to the playing field you will have seen that the new benches are now in place – thank you to all involved in getting this grant and to County Councillor, Catherine Boardman, who provided the funding.
After discussion with the Highways Department and the School, it has been agreed that a safety barrier will be installed outside the school within the next several weeks.
The full minutes for this meeting will be posted on the website and in the village notice-boards immediately after being approved at the next meeting, which will be on Thursday 10th May at 7:30 pm in the Village Hall, following the Annual Parish Meeting which will begin at 7:00 pm.[+ go back...]
