Break-in at School and Village Hall

At about 12:30am on Saturday morning (7th Feb) the school was broken into. Ipads (engraved with East Haddon CE Primary School), laptops and a camera were stolen. At some point during the same night/early morning, there were two other incidents: the Village Hall was broken into and the ‘Plough’ name plate was stolen from The Plough in Main Street.

Did you notice any suspicious behaviour during this period? Particularly, did anyone happen to be in or near Church Lane between 12:30 and 1:00am and see 3 or 4 young males with a car near the school? If so, please contact the police on 101. Your information together with the forensic evidence could be very useful in assisting the police to identify and arrest the perpetrators.

Burglary on Sunday February 8th: We have learnt that there was a house burglary on Holdenby Road between 18:30 and 23:00 when a wallet and keys to the property and to a car were removed (car was not stolen). Access was through an unsecured door - the police have asked that villagers be made aware of the need to secure their homes at all times.
